Good Day Everyone! It’s another beautiful Spring Day here in Love City and I’m fighting the urge to beach in order to get the St. John Events Calendar for April out to all of you! There are a ton of fun musical and community events happening this month, despite the dwindling Easter and Spring Break crowds. There’s always something fun to get in to on this beautiful island.
Before we get into the St. John Events for this month, I want to first make mention of the sponsors of this ongoing event calendar!
Both Sailing Asante and Kapok Villas pride themselves as a “welcome to the family” experience. At Kapok Villas, you’ll arrive for your stay to some fresh baked banana bread and a tour of the grounds with the lovely owner, Kim Hart. Ten minutes in Kim’s company and you’ll feel like you are a part of the beautiful property, nestled into the hillside on Gifft Hill.
The property is lush with beautiful gardens, numerous fruit trees, lovely flowers and of course, Kapok trees rich in history! Â This is Kim’s family home, so she has you covered with recommendations on where and how to spend your time; reserve the perfect boat charter, family photographer, dinner reservation, spa services – anything you desire, just ask. Oh, AND they just added full solar power for the property. So, no WAPA – No problem!
Speaking of boat charters… 😉 We frequently take Kim’s guests out sailing on Asante. We also take pride in guests arriving as strangers and leaving as friends! On a full day on board, you’ll experience top notch hospitality with a casual, conversational energy. Our guests receive a wealth of knowledge about St. John and the surrounding islands as well as our local tips and tricks to maximizing your time here.
More often than not, we bump into our charter guests around island after their sailing adventures. We are greeted with hugs and thanks for the insider tips that made their stay in Love City easier and more enjoyable. And they always let us know that our Painkillers served on board are better than any others they have found.
