A Typical Day on Asante…
Sailing Asante offers custom, all-inclusive sailing adventures in the waters surrounding St. John and St. Thomas, USVI. Enjoy an amazing day on the water with multiple destination options. We’ll hoist the sails, cut the engine, and allow you to relax with nothing but the blue Caribbean hues surrounding you as we island hop the day away. Captain Teddy will set course for a protected anchorage on one of the many surrounding cays to enjoy your first snorkel stop. You’ll be guided into the correct snorkel gear and take that giant stride off of Asante’s swim platform to explore some of the best reefs in the Caribbean. After snorkeling to your heart’s content, we will set the sails for a smooth downwind sail to a calm bay for lunch and another snorkel.
But Snorkeling isn’t your only option…
You’re welcome to hang out in our hammock chairs, try some paddle boarding, catch some rays in our bow beanbag chairs, or just enjoy floating around on the various floating options that Asante provides. Of course, no Caribbean sailing trip would be complete without rum punch, pain killers, an assortment of beers and seltzers, and an open bar that are all included in your day. Asante also offers an assortment of non-alcoholic beverages, a morning fruit plate, and a beautiful afternoon charcuterie.
One last stop…
It’s your day and Sailing Asante caters to your desires. You can choose to just relax and float the day away or ask us to set sail for one more snorkel stop. It isn’t called a “custom” day sailing adventure for nothing. Wether you decide to finish the day with more exploration of the underwater world or sunbathing on the bow, we will top everything off with a beautiful sail back across the waters surrounding the Virgin Islands back to your drop off location so that you can spend the rest of your vacation with a full heart and a large smile.

Captain Teddy grew up on the lakes and shores of the US East Coast and has been sailing the Caribbean since 2012. Teddy united with Asante in 2017 and has since sailed her thousands of miles from the US to the Caribbean and back again. He has a passion for the ocean, sailing, SCUBA diving, adventures, and exploring new places. Whether you want to learn about some of the history of the Virgin Islands, learn about sailing, snorkeling, SCUBA diving, and the underwater ecosystem, or just sit back, relax, and let him tell you some of his entertaining stories, Captain Teddy always provides.
